Will a fisheye lens work?

Postby Hanninen » Sun Sep 04, 2016 11:21 am

Hi all.

I have not tried your products yet but the Dominator, Alpha & Beta mini looks great.

My question is if your software will work or work even better with a fisheye lens attached to the mobile?

Here is a link to the type of lens I was thinking of.

Keep up the good work. :-)

We were testing fisheye lenses and we found that using it will not add to much to the experience.
It will make tracking area bigger, but this also adds a lot of distortion, which our software can't compensate.

Usual FOV of phone cameras is about 70-80 degrees, which provides more than sufficient tracking area.
